Pastor Charles Areson is the pastor of the Tell City Nazarene Church in southern Indiana. He completed the Nazarene Course of Studies while working on the factory floor. After pastoring several years, he went back to school and received his BS from Southeastern University and then a Masters in Pastoral Leadership from Olivet. He also served as a hospice chaplain and bereavement coordinator for over eight years. Besides being a pastor, he is a blogger, author, husband, father, and grandfather. His first book was the children’s book, The Bee in the Blackberry Bush. Since then he has published several others, including the Bible Reflection series, which was designed to help disciples journal/record their thoughts on every chapter in the Bible. His passion is to teach the lessons he learned about forgiveness. Impossible to Forgive: What God Can Do When You Can’t is his testimony of being taken from being unwilling to forgive to finding the ability to love even the monsters in his life.
